Richard Supports his community in many ways, the arts being just one part of his diverse portfolio

Richard is an exceptional person to have in any corner, no matter what shape you are. Growing up in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside, he understands how the West Coast has changed over the past thirty years. Helping people is always at the forefront of his mind. He found his first calling at the age of 22, becoming a Firefighter. This responsibility opened up his view of the world and has continued to help him grow throughout his career. He also took his passion for fitness and opened up two successful gyms in the Lower Mainland within 5 years, earning a National-Level Coach title along the way. From building two businesses, he found a natural gift of connecting with people and an innate ability to create communities of trust with people he comes across.

Thank you, Richard! Because of your kindness, Eavesdrop Magazine is able to support diverse artists in the Lower Mainland and throughout Canada. Your generosity helps connect art with people who care and grow a community that champions equity. We are honoured to have you in our corner <3
