This is the “obvious” option, but it has layers! There are several ways that your dollar can help us keep making rad magazines.

Firstly, you can purchase copies of our magazines! We have print copies, digital copies (in our shop and in sliding scale format), and you can listen to our magazines online, but also on third-party audio services like Spotify, Apple Music, iHeart Radio, and YouTube Music, which gives us a small kickback.

Secondly, you can become an Eavesdropper. We have two tiers of subscription, digital and physical, that, for less than a hot bevvy of your choice per month, you can get some awesome art and support future awesome art.

Thirdly, we run ads in our magazines and content! If you want to see samples, we’d be happy to send them over. We do podcast, print/digital (half or full page), newsletter, and website ads.

Lastly, you can make one-time donations to support us through the “donate” button on the top right corner of your computer or bottom of the menu on your phone.

Note, as an unqualified donee, we can’t issue tax receipts, but for larger donations, we have sponsorship tiers and are happy to advertise your project or business in return :)

We hold at least one free or sliding-scale in-person event per year, and attend several events over the year to promote our project and artists. By attending, you’re contributing, whether you read, listen, or simply come to chat with like-minded individuals, any in-person connection helps create impact.

Don’t like events? That’s cool! Maybe a quiet space to hang out is your thing. Did you know that libraries purchase books to fill their shelves, and you can help pick what’s on them?

Use your local public library’s request form or speak to a librarian to ask that they stock Eavesdrop

You can also ask your university library to stock us, too!

Finally, and possibly cheeky, put an issue copy of Eavesdrop on your wish list.

We occasionally have free/by donation virtual events as well as in-person events, such as artist talks or workshops. Share and attend and bring friends in the digital world to celebrate local artists.
