Issue 1:

New Beginnings

A pizza delivered to a space station. A duck that is also a rabbit. A tin of sardines. A monster. A morning. A hatchet. A backhoe. The end of the world.

All this and more in the first issue of Eavesdrop. Read it by browsing below, or click here to grab an inclusively priced PDF copy.

The cover of Eavesdrop Issue 1. It shows a painting of a woman bending over backwards next to a door in a Victorian-style room. She stands in front of a door. A very small woman with bird wings is flying through the door above her.

Eavesdrop is created asynchronously from multiple locations, including the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the Quw'utsun, Snuneymuxw, Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh peoples. In our work, the Eavesdrop team strives to honour our commitments and obligations as uninvited guests on this territory. We are committed to the work of peace-building, taking action, and building equity from a place of gratitude and self-education.
