Issue 4:
Echoes
Shadows from beyond. Is there an after? Heroic comics. Mothers upon mothers. Betta fish. Girlhood romance. Jackasses. Best friendships created and dissolved. Everyone wants to think they wouldn’t look back.
All this and more in the fourth issue of Eavesdrop. You can purchase a limited handmade copy, listen to the audio issue on your preferred music fix service, or browse below. If you choose to browse online, please note that different web browsers and devices may display pieces differently to accommodate screen size. To experience a hand-curated collection with each piece structured the way our artists intended, please consider purchasing a pay-what-you-can digital version of Issue 4 by clicking here.
* Some pieces include descriptions of violence, which some readers may find uncomfortable. Be sure to take care as you read and listen.
Issue 4 of Eavesdrop was created asynchronously from multiple locations on Vancouver Island, including the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the Quw'utsun, Snuneymuxw, Lək̓ʷəŋən, and W̱SÁNEĆ peoples. In our work, the Eavesdrop team strives to honour our commitments and obligations as uninvited guests on these territories. We are committed to the work of peace-building, taking meaningful action, and building equity from a place of gratitude and self- education.
